Abe’s Hell-Annie’s Knock

The neighborhood of Abe’s Hill (or Abe’s Hell)-Annie’s Knock is a strange one.  It has an old and not so very nice history, and that history is still at work.  You must tread carefully through this lovely neighborhood built on a hill in Minnesota.  A hill that was once two hills.  A neighborhood harboring two neighborhoods.  However, as with all things in this world, there is balance, and with bad comes good, evil with wisdom, the trickster with the mother.  But much in Abe’s Hill-Annie’s Knock is not what is seems, houses, streets, people, trees, animals, or things unseen.

Welcome to Abe’s Hill-Annie’s Knock” says the sign as you enter the lovely neighborhood with old oaks and elms and lindens.  Just don’t look very closely and drive straight through.
